Preparing For Your Filler Treatment
To ensure the best possible results from your filler treatment, we recommend avoiding alcohol and blood-thinning medications before your appointment. It's also important to arrive with clean, breakout-free skin. Please inform our nurse if you have any medication allergies or have experienced reactions to similar treatments.
During Your Filler Session
Our highest priorities at Touch of Beauty Medi Spa are your comfort and safety. Our nurses skillfully perform quick, small injections to enhance your natural beauty without overdoing it. At your treatment visit, your provider will cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing agent to help ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Depending on the area being treated, your provider may also use a small needle to perform a nerve block for additional pain management. Then, we’ll use a small needle and/or cannula to inject the filler into your treatment area(s).
After Your Treatment
After your appointment, you can expect to see results immediately. Remember that some bruising and swelling in the injected areas is normal and typically resolves within a few days. We’ll also provide some post-procedure instructions to help ensure the best results possible.
After two weeks, we’ll have you come back for a follow-up appointment to ensure you’re happy with your results. If there was any remaining filler from your treatment, we are happy to use it at that time for any touch-ups you would like. If for any reason you decide you are unhappy with your filler, it is easily dissolvable with an injected reversal agent.
